Sitting on the sand looking beyond the waves and the birds
i could see all the different colors the sun had while it would
go away to the other side of the world.
Sitting there made me think of all the good memories and then
I thought about how i had so many UPs and DOWNs to be here..
at times i thought i would of never make it out or have a chance to be
in a place so beautiful that words just could’t explain.
I closed my eyes and i would feel the cool breeze hitting my soft face.
and how funny it felt to wiggle my toes in the sand.
all the hard work finally had paid off, because now im relaxing.
With no WORRIES or WHAT IFs, my mind was at ease
something that i haven’t felt in such a long time
sitting there playing with the sand in my hands
i felt a tear drop falling off my face, i knew i deserve this
tears of happiness and i was glad to be that i was here
there was nothing else in this world that i wanted
but i knew… i knew this is where i belong and no other place

looking at the sunset.
and other days i would look at the sunrise
all the colors were breath taken
so i knew this is where i belong
i just couldn’t get up and leave
my name was written all over it
this is where i wanted to be and i didn’t want to leave it
but the man up here had other plans for me
so with a tear i said my goodbye but i knew
one day i would come back but only.
when i would i know i would forever stay up here
entering the real world was something
i wasn’t ready to face but i had to..
and every night i would close my eyes and
remember how beautiful it was to be up there…
